Survival and Growth of SMEs in the Middle East: Navigating Crises and Change

The aim of the research is to study the impact of the crisis on the SME business and to study its survival strategies towards growth in Middle East. Coronavirus is taken as the instance of a severe crisis that will affect the working and existence of the SMEs as they may face issues and challenging situations with the changing environment in Middle East. The quantitative perspective created by the researcher gives the comparative analysis made for all the operations of the company in the needs of the pandemic and the crisis situation and all the people for the questionnaire had been done to SME so that they can closely tell the study and show how the crisis condition has affected the business. The questionnaire had been be distributed on an online platform. The observed sample group has a notable level of heterogeneity, and a noticeable inclination towards younger age cohorts a significant fraction of the participants possess advanced educational qualifications which may imply a higher level of proficiency in problem-solving and flexibility. As a result, large corporations frequently disregarded owner-operated small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) due to their inability to generate sufficient revenue.
