Special Issue (2026): Artificial Intelligence and the Transformation of Managerial Practices: Evidence, Governance, and Strategic Implications
Call for Papers
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly reshaping managerial decision-making, organizational structures, and leadership practices. Beyond efficiency gains, AI influences how managers exercise judgment, allocate responsibility, govern organizations, and interact with human and algorithmic agents. Despite growing adoption, empirical and theoretical understanding of AI’s implications for managerial practice remains fragmented.
This Special Issue invites high-quality conceptual and empirical contributions that examine AI as a socio-technical system embedded in managerial work. We particularly encourage studies that move beyond purely technological perspectives and address strategic, organizational, ethical, and governance implications of AI in management.
